An ongoing meme for the conservative, Christian right wing is that Christians are being persecuted by the nefarious forces of evil liberals. Fox News seems to be more than willing to promote this notion as shown in their providing a platform for the bogus “war on Christmas” and for their resident guardians of public morality (Beck, Hannity, O’Reilly) to bray about how liberals are “godless” and are trying to take God away from good, God fearing Christians. Recently, Fox presented several pieces of journalistic dishonestyregarding “persecution of Christians” within the stimulus bill. Foxette, Gretchen Carlson is particularly incensed about the treatment of her fellow Christian soldiers. She was so outraged about the “war on Christmas,” (the Seattle atheist sign and festivus pole which poor Gretchen said “was an insult to Christianity) that she advocated that there should be no right to free speech and free rights on December 25th. Yesterday (February 20th), on Fox&Friends, Carlson took up the cross again, proclaiming Christians are “made fun” of and she’s tired of it.
My Comment to Gretchen Carlson is the same as the one I just made to BILL O’Reilly:
Gretchen Carlson & Bill O’Reilly are your typical “Christian” that have not one shred of evidence for their version of God, nor any evidence that would prove the Muslim God is not real. However, they will smear anyone they don’t like or any religion that doesn’t agree with them. They seem to forget that if a man cuts off the head of his wife that it is Their Christian God that caused it, according to the “inspired word” of his God. Let me prove it with scripture and logic.
“…shall there be EVIL in a city, and the Lord has not done it?” (Amos 3:6).
“…so shall the Lord bring upon you ALL EVIL THINGS…” (Josh. 23:15).
“What? Shall we receive good at the hand of God and shall we not receive EVIL” (Job 2:10).
“I [God] created the waster to DESTROY” (Isa. 54:16).
“The Lord has made…the WICKED for the day of EVIL” (Prov. 16:4).
I can point to many more scriptures as “evidence” for their God being the reason a man cuts off the head of his wife. I think they should be speaking out against their God and not some other God or man that follows another God. Clearly, the Christian God stated it is him that does all evil and he proved it in throughout the bible…read it Bill and Gretchen.
From the Bible that Bill & Gretchen read:
“God is operating ALL in all” (I Cor. 12:6)
“Yet ALL is of God” (II Cor. 5:18)
If God operates All in all (operates means to control the function) and ALL is of God then clearly, we must admit that it is the Christian God that actually caused the man (created the wicked for the evil day) to cut off the head of his wife. If a Child is molested it is “yet ALL of God” and guess what? God watched it all take place, maybe to ensure it was done properly as he sees all and hears all and knows all.
Do you want to bet that Bill & Gretchen would NOT want to discuss the “word” of his God if it was presented to him as clearly as it is written?
“And ALL THINGS are of God…” (II Cor. 5:;18)
Really, their God leaves no room for this evil act having any chance of happening unless God had his hands in it. Think about it, how can the husband do such evil without God “...for He has appointed a time for every matter, and for every work...” That would include cutting off the head of ones wife. Or molesting children. We have enough examples of CHRISTIANS in the church and out of it, MOLESTING children and the church is happy to attempt to cover it up.
Hey Gretchen & Bill, do you realize that it is your God that is the creator of evil? The cause of evil, the cause of evil men/women? ”yet ALL is of God” ….what don’ you understand about the word “ALL”? Did you not know your God said it is according to HIS WILL?
“…has not the Potter [God] the right… to make… one [vessel] for DISHONOR?” (Rom. 9:19-25). It is apparently not up to man to guide his own steps but instead it is God that makes the husband for dishonor and as stated before, the wicked for the evil day.
Hey Bill, don’t take my word for it, read this Christian Bible you seems to stand behind as you sexually harass co-workers.
“O Lord, I know that the way of man is not in himself. It is not in man that walks to direct his steps” (Jer. 10:23). Hey, Bill, you can now use your God as an excuse for why you sexually harassed a co-worker….while you were married. A great Christian example.
Clearly, your God wants you to know that it is HIM that directs your steps just like he directed the steps of this Muslim man to possibly be the one that cut of his wife’s head.
Gretchen & Bill, this knowledge of your God shouldn’t be of any big surprise. Your God did drown most all life on earth in his flood, to include BABIES and the unborn child in the womb of the mother (abortion by drowning) and you call your God moral, love, mercy and compassionate. Clearly, a few screws are lose in the heads of anyone that would call such behavior moral. I call such acts vile and sick. Seems the religious group has much to learn about morals. But then again, they had no problem accepting torture and killing their enemies…Hypocrisy.
Gretchen & Bill, do some research and learn about this God you claim is real because he is the same God that watches as the man apparently cut off the head of his wife and your God did NOTHING. Kind of like he does when a child dies of hunger…he sees it, hears the cries and does NOTHING. Just like both of you.
You have far more money than most people in this world and if you truly believed in this God of yours, you would “sell your possessions” and follow your God and do as jesus would do.
wanna bet you will NOT do it. Seems you like the worldly life and the excuses you kind loves to make.

HEY! to who EVER wrote this, is one sick pony, he speaks of GOD making evil???, I DON’T think he read the bible correctly, God is a loving caring thoughtful GOD, he heals those who seek healing, he blesses those who come to him, as far as evil…. GOD gave man/woman free will, they want to perform evil acts then they will be answering to GOD for those acts, IN NO WAY SHAPE OR FORM DID GOD MAKE ANYONE BEHEAD THEIR WIFE, that was done by the decision of who ever the sick individual was, evil comes from the devil himself, he (devil) parties in this sick world when people act on his account, GOD weeps to see another soul lost in the mess on this earth, I will pray for you, GOD bless all who believe in him.

Which God do you claim is real? Seems there are many like you that claim their version of God is real. ironic. The christian god himself said “if evil happens, have I (god) not done it” and much more that is proven in scripture. The christian god flood the earth and murdered most all life (to include babies) and that is EVIL.
I never saw god heal anyone and neither have you. Did you ever see an amputee healed? NO. Stick to the facts.
If “yet all is of God” and “God operates all in all” and all is “according to HIS will” then you don’t have free will. again, stick to the facts.
If a man beheads his wife, according to the bible god “appointed a time for every matter and every event” , god “created the wicked for the evil day” and god is “the potter” that creates one for honor and one for dishonor. Clearly, you don’t read your bible. Again, if you want to believe in God and think the bible is his word then you should expect to follow that word. i can list a large number of scriptures that demonstrate and backup my claims. can you provide scripture that says god didn’t create evil or do it? because i can provide scriptures and examples from the bible that says God did do it. Read your bible.
however, all this is claimed in the bible that doesn’t mean it is true and the FACT is that you have not a shred of evidence that your god, your version of god is true. you have not a shred of evidence to support any of your claims for god or other magical creatures like satan, demons, angels, holy ghosts…..
