One man is able to fool so many people and get them to believe. If one man can get 10’s of thousands then imagine what several men can do. The people that watch him and go to his shows believe with all their heart that God is healing and may even heal them. Think about it. If they believe this foolish act then what credibility do they have when they make claims that their version of God is real and the others are not?
I guess I feel bad for people that fall for these types of things. Even though I and many others do our best to help them see the truth and expose the endless lies told by Christian. Religious leaders have it rather easy. They don’t actually need to do much because the mothers and fathers in this world have done the brainwashing of their children throughout life. When they grow up, the preachers just need to continue the lie. This lying to the public is legal and tax exempt.
The Christians that fall for this stuff are the same ones that told us to elect George Bush. George Bush and his version of God fooled them into a war based on lies which supported torture. Again, to this day, they still claim they were right to elect Bush and attempt to cover up the lies and torture. Just like Jesus?
Do you really wonder why these are the same people that buy the stories of fear and hate sold by Fox News? These are the same people that wanted us to elect Sarah Palin into office. Imagine that, a woman that managed to get her crowds to yell “kill him” and “terrorist” and “traitor” and “muslim” towards Obama. These people of Jesus are so quick to hate and easy to scare.
Just like preachers, politicians just need to tell them what they want to believe, add a little God into the mix and they will follow. It truly is that simple.
