Seems the religious side doesn’t like American Freedom. Millions have died so that we can have our freedom and many christians seems to have a problem with it. It just so happens the political party that wants to shove the Christian God down our throats and take away our freedoms is trying to put an extremist white, racist, sexist, rich Christian Mormon into office. Yes, Mitt Romney. Scary stuff.
Christian act like another religion we know of that rules another country and supports terrorist acts. The religion of Islam. Ready to be offended by the beliefs or lack of beliefs of others. Ready to be offended if someone speaks truthfully about the Christian God. I don’t want to live in a country ruled by religion. I prefer a country where I have the freedom to state what I believe and question those that demand their way is the only way, or else you will be tortured with fire for eternity!!! What’s next Christians, you going to start committing terrorist acts in your own country?
Yes, religion is a crock of shit. Foolish Nonsense!

Keep fooling yourself. You’ll see.
Posted by truelogic on August 24, 2012 at 10:18 am
Everyone that believes in one of the other Gods seem to say the same thing. Why not prove that I’ll “see”. Oh yeah, you can’t. Go tell your story to some child or weak minded person that needs to believe in your nonsense.
Posted by truelogic on August 24, 2012 at 10:22 am
Keep fooling yourself that you have the right God. oh man, this is all too easy. my god is more real than your god and one day you will see. one day if you don’t believe in my god of moral, compassion and love, he will torture you with fire, even children because he is so worthy of being worshiped.
do i need to go on to expose the nonsense? my god is just as invisible as yours and my god had a very similar history to your god and was created before your god and yet he is less real? if you say so because it is clear facts are not important to the delusional.

Were you where I am, I could and would prove all that I say, and you would bow, like it or not. You have come upon a true Christian here, friend. Unlike anything you have ever seen. Sad that you are not here. Perhaps we shall meet one day, and I hope as friends. If not, then enemies it shall be. In the mean time, I pray for you that you see, for you are blinded as was I. Where do you atheists think we Christians come from, the womb? You are as narrow-minded as the Bible-Thumpers we mutually despise.
Posted by Scathe meic Beorh on August 25, 2012 at 6:47 pm
I will prove anything you wish, but you must meet me.
Posted by truelogic on August 25, 2012 at 7:21 pm
I was blinded like you and now I see. Fact is you can’t prove your god is any more real than any other god. Just as those that believe in other gods can’t prove their god is real. but you know, i’ve had many of them say exactly the same words as you. funny, how so many of you make the same claim and in order to prove something, you make demands.
i am thankful that science doesn’t work like that. no, you are not a true christian. you think you are but clearly, you are not. but yeah, in your mind you think you are and that is ok with me if you want to think you are. i know better.
enemies? nonsense. if you want to be enemies, that is your choice. but hey, love your enemies?
if i would not bow before your all mighty god, you can be assured i will not bow before you.
peace

no, you don’t come from some magic place where only christians come from. you come from the same place as every one else.
Superstition: excessively credulous belief in and reverence for supernatural being
Myth: a traditional story, esp. one concerning the early history of a people or explaining some natural or social phenomenon, and typically involving supernatural beings or events.
Cults: a system of religious veneration and devotion directed toward a particular figure or object
Delusion: an idiosyncratic belief or impression that is firmly maintained despite being contradicted by what is generally accepted as reality or rational argument, typically a symptom of mental disorder
like most “christians” you would rather just ignore the words clearly defined throughout time and pretend they don’t apply to those that believe in Gods.
Gods have been invented since the time of man. the christian god is nothing more than a copy of the gods before him.
go ahead, prove your god is real, without meeting or anyone bowing to your awesomeness. what? you can’t? i have to meet you for you to prove your God? apparently your god can’t be proven unless someone meets you personally? absurd. just like the sadistic gods of the muslims and christians. nonsense.

Evidence: the available body of facts or information indicating whether a belief or proposition is true or valid
True: in accordance with fact or reality
Reality: the world or the state of things as they actually exist, as opposed to an idealistic or notional idea of them
Fact: a thing that is indisputably the case
Proof: evidence or argument establishing or helping to establish a fact or the truth of a statement

There is a very simple way to prove if your God is real or false. Use the same method God had Elijah use in the Bible to have those that worship Baal prove if their God was real. If God has a test and asked that a test be made of another God to prove him, the same test should work for the Christian God. you know all the word of scripture is inspired by God. at least that is what the bible says.
guess what, the christian god fails just like every other god will fail. why? because it is all superstitious nonsense.

What, are you playing some kind of multiplication game here, jackass? Be idiotic. Nobody cares but your mama. Then again, she probably never cared either, from the looks of it. Shut up.
Posted by Dave on August 25, 2012 at 10:52 pm
That was not intelligent of you, Scathe. Jackass? Shut up? Mama? Seems you have internal issues with which you’re unable to deal with or you wouldn’t be commenting, nor cruising/cursing this site to begin with. True speaks true and, as such, speaks for many. That you may be in disagreement with the ideology this site represents, is fine. Your choice. That you aggressively attack ‘some or other’ viewpoint for the only reason it might disagree with yours, is indicative that you may have never attended ‘Debating 101′ class. Name-calling/nasty is not in good taste, nor tolerated/moderated. Why the angst? That you chose to respond, speaks volumes. Has the conversation touched a nerve? True does have a reputation for chasing away many contributors but, as his press-secretary, I’m almost nearly yet adept at fending off the inquiries/accusations. Did I mention he’s on the Republicyak-yak ticket in southern GA? ….hehe…..if you don’t get that joke…..all is lost. Just my job.

kiss kiss from jackass and my mama, in the name of god.

i always wonder why those that make claims they can’t backup are often the ones that get upset with others questioning those claims. maybe his tone comes from the good lard coming into his house. they say it makes you a new person. he is speaking for many christians that want their voice heard, i guess.

Oooo making baby mad! hahahahahahahahaha
Posted by truelogic on August 26, 2012 at 6:50 pm
um, if you say so. you’re the one with the connection to the magical invisible guy that loves you so much. is that what he told you?
peace
Posted by Scathe meic Beorh on August 26, 2012 at 7:45 pm
Either shut up or put up, jackanapes. Keep your peace for somebody who actually cares.
Posted by truelogic on August 26, 2012 at 7:52 pm
i have an idea, instead of being so infatuated with me, why not go do some godly things for other people. Put up or shut up? I am not the one that makes a claim of an extraordinary invisible being. I wouldn’t make such a claim because I am not ignorant enough to think it can be proven, not even remotely.
peace and love.
oh yeah, i am a mad baby. gosh, i just can’t keep it all straight. kiss kiss

I have another idea. Why don’t you do as I said and meet me personally, dumb ass. Or are you afraid this Christian might hurt you? After all, we start all the wars, right? I guess by now your readership, if you have one, is rather amused.
Posted by truelogic on August 26, 2012 at 8:20 pm
Yes, I am afraid to meet delusional people. Never know what they might do. Kind of like a Muslim extremist, need to be careful. I have nearly no readership but if I did, i am sure they would be amused.
“yet all is of God” and “God operates all in all” and as such, it is clear that God is the cause of children being molested. In fact, he watches it when it takes place, planned for it to happen and does nothing to stop it. Praise the Christian God for he is ….um…Good?
Schizophrenia , from the Greek roots skhizein (“to split”) and phrēn, phren- (“mind”) is a psychiatric diagnosis that describes a mental disorder characterized by abnormalities in the perception or expression of reality.
I am flattered that you enjoy coming to my blog but I am afraid of those with split minds too.
A Christian attempting to hurt me would be nothing new. Christians making threats, nothing new. But I do wish you the best in your clearly helpful belief system. It apparently has made you a wonderful person.
peace

…and sorry for the acidic dialogue… I got into a particularly nasty fight with another atheist last week who happened to be a friend of over 20 years, and I took it out on you. If your philosophy allows forgiveness, I beg that of you, and do wish you well.
Posted by truelogic on August 27, 2012 at 8:59 pm
no need to apologize, my biggest weakness is forgiveness. I don’t think there is anything to forgive, we are all just human.

Thank you, friend.
