Tennessee state Sen. Stacey Campfield (R), the man who sponsored Tennessee’s “don’t say gay” bill and once compared homosexuality to bestiality, now has a theory about the spread of HIV/AIDS. On Thursday, Campfield told the Huffington Post’s Michael Signorile that it’s virtually impossible to spread HIV/AIDS through heterosexual sex and that AIDS came from the gay community:

“Most people realize that AIDS came from the homosexual community — it was one guy screwing a monkey, if I recall correctly, and then having sex with men. It was an airline pilot, if I recall.”

“My understanding is that it is virtually — not completely, but virtually — impossible to contract AIDS through heterosexual sex…very rarely [transmitted].”

Republican Rep. Larry Pittman, who was appointed to the District 82 House seat in October, expressed his views in an email sent Wednesday to every member of the General Assembly. [...]

“We need to make the death penalty a real deterrent again by actually carrying it out. Every appeal that can be made should have to be made at one time, not in a serial manner,” Pittman wrote in the email. “If murderers (and I would include abortionists, rapists, and kidnappers, as well) are actually executed, it will at least have the deterrent effect upon them. For my money, we should go back to public hangings, which would be more of a deterrent to others, as well.”

Whenever I hear an outrageously ridiculous comment in politics I know that we can be assured that it likely comes from a Christian Republican.  Spreading the love of Jesus and being a great example of his desire for peace and moral behavior.  What an idiot!

Fox News seems to get all upset when we try to correct those christians by taking prayer out of school.  If Christians don’t like it then talk to God….he is the one that suggested it not be in school or any other public place.  Pretty fucking simple concept.

The family values of religion are voting for war and torture based on lies and denying millions health care.  Praise Jesus!!!!  Christians do not want America to be the land of the free.  They want to force everyone to believe like them so it is no longer free but the land of the Christians.  You remember the Christians, they slaughtered the American Indians in the name of their God.  Yeah, the moral majority.

Now we have this Christian Mormon running for president.  Not only do they believe in an imaginary friend, they created their own version of the Bible and they believe they have magic underwear that can protect them.  They also seem to hate gays.

Seems in the country of freedom that we are not allowed to be free if Christians are in charge.  Lets not forget the amount of rich corporate friends the Christians have so they vote for the big business world.  If Romney were to become president he will be the richest president ever!

It is not wonder that it is the Christian Republicans that actually believe in things that are not supported by facts proven by evidence.

Ignoring the words of Jesus, the majority of Christians voted for war, for torture and against spending on health care.  They tell us they are the party of Christian and Family Values.  I am sorry but I don’t want my child to grow up with those kind of values.  I prefer my child to be moral, loving and caring.  You know, like that story of Jesus Christ.  Not like those that claim to follow Jesus.

Here is a scripture for the majority of Christians we see today.  It is a scripture from their very own God concerning people exactly like todays Christians…yes…the majority of them.

“Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men…Full well you reject the commandments of God, that you may keep your own traditions” (Mark 7:7 & 9)

Christians couldn’t give a shit about loving your enemies or following any of the teachings of Christ.  Oh, except the scripture that condemns gays or others that don’t pretend to believe like Christians.
