James David Doyle (Atheist), a 16-year-old with reported dreams of playing football for Indianola High School this fall and pursuing an eventual career as an attorney, was pronounced dead from a gunshot wound early Sunday morning at 800 W. First Ave, police said.
The shooting took place at the home of Allen Nadler (moral Christian), 14, who neighbors said had been left alone since Friday while his father was away on a camping trip.
Nadler now faces a first-degree murder charge.
“The kids were up all night messing around with the gun and then there were some angry words and the victim was shot,” said Indianola Police Chief Steve Bonnett.
The killing was motivated, Bonnett said, but he declined to release specific details: “This wasn’t a case of kids playing with a gun and it accidentally went off.”
Friends and family described Nadler as “deeply religious” and prone to loud discussions when faced with people who didn’t share his beliefs. Doyle likewise was said to be argumentative, they said, but the two boys remained close.
Of course the news isn’t getting out about this because they don’t want it to spread that the boy was killed by a Christian. I guess the Christians have enough bad press with their hate towards gays causing teen suicides and the fact that Christians have a history of molesting children. Now, murder of children.
Like I have always stated, if we get rid of religion, this world would suddenly change for the better and we would actually have the ability to learn to love. Instead, Christians spend their life attempting to judge and tell others how they are to live and they base it all on the words of an imaginary man for which they haven’t a single shred of evidence to demonstrate he is remotely true.
Because of that, people are suffering and dying.

This is scary stuff. But, you know, Christians have special knowledge we don’t have. For instance, they “know” that, when they kill someone, that’s not the end of it. After the death, the person has a chance to win the eternity lottery, lolling about on clouds and playing harps forever and ever, or maybe even going to that Neverland Ranch in the sky. Who knows, right?
So, for a Christian to kill an atheist isn’t nearly so bad as having an atheist kill a Christian. We atheists are quite certain there won’t be any fun and games for the dead, no reunion with their dead ancestors, no happily living forever with Michael Jackson.
It reminds me of the Crusades, when the English would force Muslims to line up, and then go down the line “converting” the heathens at swordpoint. Of course, each new Christian was immediately killed after the “conversion.” But, wasn’t it nice that they waited until each infidel was in a “state of grace” before running him through with a sword.
This stuff is scary. I think I said so already. It’s also a bit discouraging and depressing. I dunno, call me crazy, but I think love is ever so much cleaner when there’s no religious fervor involved. Piss-ant Christian could take away life, but can never replace it.

Just because some of the christians killed it doesn’t mean they all do. People of non religious backgrounds kill too. Wow an atheist trying to use a media story to sway people onto his side of the fence, well imagine that. Because a 14 year old killed a 16 year old doesn’t all of a sudden make christ not real. You can take any story you want and twist whatever media or data feed you like. But christ is real, and no god does not live in fluffy white clouds, and the devil does not wear a red suit and have a tail. Atheists twist and make up things like these to laugh at Christianity, The world is full of murder, hate, disease, all man kind is doing is suffering. And the only hope for mankind is jesus christ and the atheist with his wicked heart wants to take away salvation and hope for mankind.
I have seen to much suffering, as I lay here now suffering with a chronic disease that I will have to live the rest of my life with called chronic prostatitis. I recently watched my cousins 6 month old daughter buried, and it was heart breaking. I refuse to trust in this world anymore. I don’t want beer, sex, fast cars, piles of money, marijuana etc. All those things are to hide the pain. You take away a mans alcohol, money, dope,piles of cds and dvds,and all of the other crap that man uses to keep himself occupied in order to hide the pain and you look and see the world for what it truly is and it is a diseased world. This is the hope of the christian that his savior will return and that all of this hell we feel on earth and the diseases will be put away.
All the atheist has his is alcohol, cars, money, and a hole dug for him when he dies.
Why would anyone want to spend their life so spiritually dead. Atheists says what if we are wrong and their is no after life, I wanna live my best life now…..
If this world and all of its horrors and suffering and pain is my best life, then I don’t want no part of it, I would rather just go and die now.

I am not more an atheist than anyone else. I just believe in one less god than others. Christians are atheist with respect to other Gods. Guess what, nothing suddenly make Christ real or not real. Until someone proves he is a real God, we shouldn’t just claim he is. Just as we shouldn’t claim Buddha or Krishna or Horus are Gods just because someone tells us they are gods from the day we are born. Of course the devil doesn’t wear red, he is invisible, like God. Kind of nice we can claim he is invisible so that therefore makes the story more believable? what a crock.
If God is real, the world is full of murder, hate, child rape, because the Bible tells us clearly that “yet all is of God” and that everything is “according to his will”. and that “God operates all in all”. To operate means to “control the function”. Yet people claim God is moral, now how ridiculous is that? God is the potter and we are the clay and he creates a “vessel for dishonor” so you see, those vessels are the ones that rape because God decided they would. God “planned everything”….”from the beginning” and we all know scripture tells us that God “created the wicked for the evil day”. So we can’t blame man for doing what this invisible god of your decided we would do. Now, good thing i have free will to see that those acts all all immoral and do not deserve praise or worship.
I am sorry to hear about your sickness and the death in your family. If you believe in God then you must read his book and notice that what I have stated is true. I can provide you a never ending list of scriptures that support my statements. “everything” is according to his will and he “predestinated” everything and everything was “before ordained”. Have you not read his book? Actually read it from an objective point of view and not what you have been told to believe.
I never drink, never have, i never smoked, never have and I do not do drugs of any kind. Sex his healthy for us all and a part of nature, nothing wrong with it. I dont’ have a fast car or lots of money and gave a very large amount of my life savings away to help those less fortunate. The world clearly needs improvement but much of our problems are caused by the superstitious beliefs in God. Especially when we claim that God is the creator of everything, including evil and that we can do “nothing but for the father”. In fact, even Jesus could do NOTHING but for the father so clearly, man doesn’t have a power that Jesus didn’t have, does he? Absurd for anyone to think they can do whatever they want when even Jesus himself couldn’t.
When we die, we die. that is it. But if you want to believe the bible you will see, if you read it, that EVERYONE will be saved and stand with God in the end. “i will have that all men be saved”. read your scriptures man or remain as you are, a puppet of those that which to control the minds of the dumb sheep.
My life is so full, my family is wonderful and my children bring so much joy. Why would someone want to pretend there is a after life and a special god that loves them so very much, unless they are full of fear and haven’t educated themselves. No proof, no reason, no logic, no evidence behind your claim of a God, just like all the others that claim their God is real. Think about it. Yeah, you can’t. you are so afraid that if you do think about it, you will learn the truth and that causes you fear because “what if i am wrong” ….your “moral” god will torture you for eternity. what nonsense. there are numerous scriptures that clearly demonstrate that all men will be saved. have you not read the Jesus is “the savior of the world”. yeah, scripture. Tell me, how can he be the savior of the world and then fail to save the world? Oppps, guess your religious leaders throughout your life kind of didn’t want you to know the truth. keeps the money coming in through fear and ignorance. which also drives hate and division in america.
It is sad to see so many people claim to be Christians and yet they don’t know a fraction of what is truly stated in scripture. Look at verse one in chapter one of revelation. it clearly states it is symbolic. the fire is symbolic and used to purify all men. Christians read revelation and say, yes, look at all these symbols that mean something else. then when they get to the chapter on hell fire and the second death….suddenly they claim it is no longer symbolic. how ridiculous and how ignorant for people to buy the Christian story.

I do agree with you. However, I often see religion as being so powerful in our world that it allows behaviors that are typically associated with prejudice and violence. Lets use the American indians for example. The white christians came and slaughtered the native people of America in the name of God and what was “good” and “moral”. Religion allows numerous amounts of or immoral actions to be excused…slavery?, Slaughter of those that don’t follow a specific religion?
Once we treat religion as a superstition that is part of our great history we will likely start making more rational decision in life that are based on true morals and not those “morals” taught by religion.
Lets attack Iraq in the name of God and country. Our Christian president george bush believed that is what God wanted him to do. He was on a Mission from God. nearly 2 trillion US dollars later and at the additional cost of thousands of lives of both innocent women, children, men, and solders….again religion.
Teach our children that it is ok to lie to anyone as long as that lie involved extraordinary claims that can’t be proven is likely a contributor to the dishonest behavior was see from so many people. Approximately 87 percent of those in prison claim to be Christian…..i wonder…..doesn’t seem religion is teaching morals like they claim.
It teaches us to be dishonest. to make stuff up that we have NO WAY of proving and then claiming it is true. it teaches ignorance which I believe leads to prejudice and violence.

My guess at what atheist dan is saying is that it is man that determines what is moral or not moral. so if society had decided something like murder was moral then it would be moral. We can’t say that about the Christian Catholic Church. Sam is correct. it is rare that I would block a post but with mmuliwana, I blocked 93 of which I didn’t read a single one. Why? because like sam stated….mmuliwana kept posting nonsense after nonsense and never backed up any of his claims. those comments are considered spam to me because he posted so many in short time just pushing his personal view.

I understand your point now. Thanks. Of course, I would hope no one instructs a priest to molest. My point is that religion tends to attract individuals that are more likely to do or agree with abhorrent behaviors. Religion has a history of making excuses for the crimes committed or supported under their watch or within their groups. Not just the Christian religion. Often just saying it was in the name of god gives immoral behavior a pass as it did throughout history. As it was done for Iraq, religion was used to play on the emotions and minds of those that believed. In the name of God I have a mission to destroy and therefore it doesn’t matter if we haven’t a single piece of evidence to show Iraq had anything to do with 9/11 or WMD. Join me, I am a believer in god…like you. lets go kill innocent people…god and country.
religion allows people to make claims without backing them up. religion says it is ok to lie or deceive people as long as you follow the lies of the group and that your lies support your group belief. being taught as a child to lie and that it is ok to not backup your claims and that people will accept you and love you if you pretend with them is something that leads to many growing up thinking it is acceptable to lie, cheat, deceive, and do other immoral things that are far worse.
the catholic version of the christian religion is one of the worst. look at history. they preach against the use of condoms when the facts demonstrate that if people use condoms they are less likely to have children and spread infections that kill. so, if the country is extremely poor, kids are already going hungry….go ahead, don’t use a condom..have more kids that will suffer and have unprotected sex so maybe as a parent you die and can’t provide for the child you created. because god doesn’t approve of condoms…he prefers death and suffering?
really, it is pure ignorance for anyone to worship such a being when it is clear he is profoundly evil…if he were real. thankfully, he isn’t and unfortunately there are people that will believe and follow what others tell them a God wants them to do. then we get things like 9/11, witch burnings, slaughter, torture, murder, etc. history paints a clear picture of it all.

I do believe that christianity, especially the catholic version, has something to do with providing a place for child molesters to get away with their crimes. look how the religion is setup. the men marry the church, not women or some other partner. a perfect place for someone that doesn’t fit in ad gives them an excuse for being a little different. they feel guilty for whatever feelings they have so they join to be close to god so god can help them workout their problems and then they find that god doesn’t do shit and now they have free rein to do what they want.
i am sure there are numerous reasons for them attracting so many child molesters. i haven’t thought about it much but again, do like your point.

This is the reason I blocked some of your past posts. you post scripture as if it is fact when in FACT you have NEVER proven your God to be real, for scripture to be of your God, or that those scriptures are indeed factual in reality.
So that Johnny and others in the future understand I wanted to make it clear the reason I block your posts and the post of a person that threatened people in the past. Good reason. I don’t mind if you post scripture without backup anything relating to it but when you do it repeatedly, I have EVERY right to not allow it to be posted. if you want to claim I am lying by saying I didn’t read them, that is your choice. a child can look at a huge block of posts and notice that it is filled with scripture (nonsense). a child can then relate your past posts as not providing a single shred of evidence to backup a claim and summarize that those posts are nonsense.

yeah, there is another blog which I am moving to because I was asked to do so by the person that pays for everything. i also write for other blogs from time to time when I am asked. this blog isn’t actually active other than me providing comments from time to time. at the home page of this blog is the webaddress for the other blog…i think. i’ve not had time to post much in a long time as business has been busy but i plan to have lots of time to write in the very near future. most importantly, i prefer to read and research…and think.
